One of the major focuses of the APICS Biology Committee is to organize a regional psychology conference for undergraduate
students in the Atlantic Canadian institutions. Rotating between institutions in New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia,
and Prince Edward Island each year, the APICS Undergraduate Biology Conference has been a the number one
regional biology conference in the region since 1970.
The first student conference organized by the committee took place in Halifax in 1970.
The tradition has continued. In 2009, the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro, NS held the 39th
AUBC. The 40th AUBC will be held in March 2010 at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB.
