Since 1967, the APICS Chemistry Committee has been involved in organizing the region's premiere student Chemistry conference: ChemCon.
Initially the conference was run every two years, but it became so popular by 1985 that it became an annual conference.

ChemCon 2011 will be held May 20-22, 2011, at UPEI.
